A magic show created especially for the occasion by Hodei, Spain's National Magic Champion 2025. 

On the night of 12 August, something unique will happen. For one fleeting INSTANT, just like the rare phenomena that can only ever be witnessed once. 

A single moment. Fleeting. Unrepeatable. 

Inspired by that idea, Hodei, Spain's National Magic Champion 2025, has created a performance that can only be experienced during the festival, a unique event that will happen just once.

As the show unfolds, time seems to bend its own rules. Impossible coincidences, choices that appear to have already been made and original illusions for the whole family all lead to the same idea: some moments cannot simply be observed. They have to be experienced. 

Filled with audience participation, humour and wonder, this is a show where the audience does more than watch. They become part of what is about to happen. 

And when it's over, you'll be left with the feeling that, like that fleeting INSTANT in the sky, you've witnessed something that will never happen again.

Between 2026 and 2028, Spain will witness a remarkable astronomical sequence: three solar eclipses in three consecutive years. To mark this unique occasion, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) have created the FOTCIENCIA Eclipses exhibition, inviting visitors to experience these extraordinary events through photography while reflecting on the relationship between cosmic phenomena and life on Earth.

The exhibition explores what happens in the sky during an eclipse, linking these spectacular events with scientific research, knowledge, innovation and technological development. Through striking images of light and shadow, and perspectives that range from the cosmic to the microscopic, it celebrates humanity's enduring curiosity and our desire to understand the universe around us.

Curated by Fernando de Retes (Creative Cosmos), a member of the ACTS Network, FOTCIENCIA Eclipses offers a broad and thought-provoking exploration of eclipses through the lens of art, science, technology and society. The exhibition begins with an introduction from the curator, followed by 15 photographic panels accompanied by texts specially commissioned for the exhibition.

Hands-on activities that explore the Sun and the Moon through play.

A fun, interactive space designed especially for young visitors. Through a series of hands-on activities and craft projects, children will build their own safe solar viewer, assemble a cardboard tellurion to explore the movements of the Earth and Moon, and enjoy drawing and cutting activities that help explain, in a fun and practical way, what happens in the sky during a solar eclipse.

A dome show revealing the celestial mechanics behind solar eclipses.

Step inside our inflatable dome for an immersive show exploring the astronomical mechanics behind this extraordinary phenomenon on a larger-than-life scale. We will explore the nature of our Sun, the changing phases of the moon and the precise alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth that briefly transforms day into night for a few extraordinary moments.

Experience the sights and sensations of a total solar eclipse before the big day in our immersive booth.

Step inside this immersive installation and experience what it feels like to witness totality during a total solar eclipse. Through striking visual and sound effects, combined with a dramatic drop in temperature, it recreates the unique atmosphere of totality, offering a realistic and exciting preview of this extraordinary phenomenon before it unfolds in the sky.

Luisa and Marisa are making the most of this very special day by playing games, telling stories, singing songs and counting down to the eclipse in the most entertaining way they know.

In summer, Luisa and Marisa usually meet in village squares, at precisely 12:00, to play, sing, and tell stories.

But this summer is different, because a total solar eclipse is on its way.

Armed with their homemade eclipse-hunting kit and their wonderfully quirky eclipse clock, they've decided to wait for the big moment in the way they love best: by telling stories.

            One o'clock, let the fun begin.

            Two o'clock, we'll sing with you.

            Three o'clock, let’s laugh and play. 

            Four o'clock, eclipse hooray!

    Come and dream with us beneath the shadow of the eclipse.

Step into the world of magic with professional magician Hodei, who will reveal some of the secrets behind his illusions. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn a selection of magic tricks and make your own props to take home, so you can practise and amaze your family and friends.

"Give Them a Second Life" is part of a public awareness campaign highlighting the importance of reducing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Produced by the Office for Waste Prevention and Circular Economy (OPREC) in partnership with the public company OREKAN, the exhibition explores what WEEE is, how to recognise it and the valuable materials it can contain (gold, palladium, rare earth elements, etc.). It also explains consumers' rights when buying refurbished electrical and electronic equipment, and shows visitors how to access the Repairers Map using the QR code on one of the exhibition panels if a device needs repairing. 

Through an engaging journey following the life cycle of these everyday devices, the exhibition highlights the environmental impact of how they are managed. It shows how responsible disposal supports recycling and helps conserve valuable resources, while poor disposal can have serious environmental consequences. 

A performance shaped from beeswax that explores how the small losses of everyday life become etched into our bodies, tracing the landscape of a lifetime.

They say a bee's life is measured in flight hours: just five hundred in total. Using old cassette tapes, the performance pieces together fragments of a life, of a body and memories that are constantly changing, like wax itself. Time unfolds sometimes slowly, sometimes at speed, much like the flight of a bee.

A circus and comedy performance in which a pair of eccentric, hopelessly out-of-place pilots search for the best spot to stage their crazy race.

A roaming circus performance in which a pair of hilarious pilots arrive in their extraordinary pedal-powered vehicle, searching for the perfect place to stage their wonderfully eccentric bicycle race. Expect unicycles, bicycles of every shape and size, acrobatics, juggling and plenty of unexpected surprises, all brought to life with infectious humour and the enthusiastic participation of the audience.

Experience the annual Perseid meteor shower beneath the night sky during the guided observing session.

This year, the peak of the Perseids coincides with the day of the eclipse, creating an exceptionally rare opportunity. As the night unfolds, you'll learn how to find your way around the night sky, locate the constellation of Perseus, from which the meteors appear to radiate, and discover why these dazzling streaks of light are fragments left behind by a comet

Take a closer look at the Sun through the SunGun during this special observing experience, taking place in the lead-up to the eclipse. 

In collaboration with the Navarra Music Commission, enjoy live music throughout the day in the viewing area, with concerts and DJ sets by artists from across Navarre.

Breaking news! Extra-terrestrials are about to arrive on Earth...

A street theatre performance where clowning, physical theatre and the quick wit of its two performers create a wonderfully imaginative world. An alien spacecraft is about to touch down on Earth, in a historic event broadcast live by Radio Koilara's intrepid reporters. Their makeshift radio studio is filled with colourful characters, outrageous situations and plenty of mystery, as they cover the encounter no one on Earth wants to miss.
