Ribaforada

Ribaforada has a variety of resources you can enjoy in the area. It combines Roman archaeological heritage, Medieval Templar heritage, religious architecture and the opportunity to explore the trails alongside the Imperial Canal of Aragon. For your comfort, there is a wide range of accommodation options, including rural guesthouses, hostels, hotels, inns, and camper van areas. There is also a diverse culinary scene that combines agricultural produce from Navarre with the traditional pastoral cuisine of the Bardenas Reales.

All the viewpoints of the official network have a series of common services which include reserved car park areas, information booths, toilets, catering services, drinkable water available and medical service or ambulance. In addition, as elements of security, meeting places and covered spaces have been defined. Each viewpoint can also offer a series of cultural activities and science outreach that complement the offer for that special day. 

Ribaforada locates its viewpoint in the Bardenas viewpoint, at the west of the town, allowing you to follow the event from one of the venues with a longer totality phase in a natural environment. The area has shaded areas, playgrounds, toilets and nearby car parks.

In its city centre, outside the viewpoint, the town has a swimming-pool, camping areas, leisure areas, as well as restaurants to enjoy local cuisine. Throughout the day, the town will enhance the astronomic experience with several cultural activities. The viewpoint will be open for access from 11:00 a.m., and activities will take place after the eclipse. Camping areas are managed by each town and, after you purchase your ticket, we will contact you with more information.
