Eclipse in Sendaviva
Sendaviva is the largest family leisure park in Navarre. It combines nature, animals, attractions and shows to enjoy with the family.
It is a large park full of adventure, a wide variety of animals, nature, with more than 30 attractions to enjoy with the family. It is a park planned to enjoy outdoors, with activities and attractions for all ages, perfect for families with children. Sendaviva hosts more de 200 species and more than 1,000 specimens. Visitors can stroll through thematic paths such as the Livestock Trail, the Photo Safari, the Predatory Mammal Forest or the Aviary.
Services
All the viewpoints of the official network have a series of common services which include reserved car park areas, information booths, toilets, catering services, drinkable water available and medical service or ambulance. In addition, as elements of security, meeting places and covered spaces have been defined. Each viewpoint can also offer a series of cultural activities and science outreach that complement the offer for that special day.
Sendaviva offers its nature park as a privileged setting to view the eclipse, notable for its fabulous views, which allow you to see the moon’s shadow gliding across the landscape. Due to its characteristics, it is a perfect option for families and children, since it allows you to organise and enjoy the day at the park. The area offers all the facilities found on the premises, enhancing the experience with its usual activities and the always friendly presence of the animals that live in the park.
There is also a special programme of events around the astronomic event, including talks, workshops, a simulation booth where visitors can experience what totality will be like in advance, and the launch of a stratospheric balloon to capture the moon’s shadow. To round off the day, the event will conclude to make way for the Perseids meteor shadow among other cultural proposals. The viewpoint will be open for access from 10:00 a.m., and activities will take place after the eclipse.
